Meet Samantha

It’s great to meet you! HCG’s founder, Samantha Hatch (she/her), is passionate about creating more equitable and inclusive workplaces that allow employees to do their best work, regardless of their background.


With over 10 years of IDEA & HR experience that spans organizational effectiveness, HR Business Partner roles, talent acquisition, and leading diversity & inclusion efforts for world class biotech and aerospace companies, Samantha understands how to best utilize the IDEA ecosystem to get results. Samantha received her Master’s & Bachelor’s Degrees in Industrial/Organizational Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and DePaul University, respectively. Samantha also has a certificate in Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion for HR from Cornell University.


Outside of the office Samantha volunteers with several nonprofit organizations across Los Angeles, loves to learn about different cultures through travel, calls herself a ‘casual triathlete,’ serves as the Co-Lead for the SoCal DePaul Alumni Association, enjoys baking, and hangs with her two rescue cats.
